Windows 98 completely screwed up on Friday evening, and of course no backup, so I had to reinstall. Didn't lose any data files, luckily, but it takes a long time install 20 odd apps/utilities. Meanwhile I wasn't practising my violin or doing Mech coursework. Never mind, I'll do some tomorrow.

Having been a dedicated WordPerfect fan for several years (the first 386 I used had WordPerfect 5.1) I am a bundle of nerves trying to make MS Word put charts where I want them to go, and all sorts of other nightmare formatting problems, for my Mechanics 4 coursework (why not sensible reveal codes equivalent!). I wouldn't use it except for the fact that I need to edit it at school, and they don't have WordPerfect. How such a crappy program can become such a standard I just don't know. It shows how people rely on the name rather than investigating the quality of the product itself.

I've finally got around to updating this page; again I have been extremely busy recently, as my computer has been at my mum's new office while I have been setting up a network there.
Interesting things to note: got a pleasing set of results for Pure 3, Mech 3, Stats 3, Pure 4 modules, and I took Instrumentation Electronics (a Physics module). There is a lot of work to do at the moment, including Mechanics 4 coursework and music coursework (composition, arrangement and performance - I'm doing my recital soon).
