Engaged!

Now that both sets of parents know (indeed, some knew in advance) I can reveal that, on Saturday evening, in Brussels, I proposed to Gillian, and she accepted!

I proposed in the traditional manner with a shiny diamond ring.

We don't have any concrete plans for the wedding yet, but it's likely to be in 2007 sometime, possibly the spring. More details to follow, of course.
